Built for Fides
The 2026-27 third shirt takes its inspiration from Fides, a Roman virtue representing loyalty and unity. That concept is translated into a restrained colour palette, allowing the traditional yellow-and-red details to stand out against the dark-grey foundation. The central traditional crest becomes the visual focal point, reinforcing the connection between the present-day team and the identity that has defined Roma for generations.
The tonal pattern adds another layer of character, drawing inspiration from decorative elements associated with the Eternal City. Rather than overwhelming the shirt, the graphic sits subtly within the dark base, creating depth that becomes more apparent on closer inspection. Around the neck, “LOTTA CON IL CUORE” carries a historic rallying cry of the Giallorossi supporters, giving the shirt an emotional connection to the stands as well as the pitch.
The design arrived during a new chapter for Roma under Gian Piero Gasperini. By September 2026, the squad included established figures such as Paulo Dybala, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Bryan Cristante and Gianluca Mancini alongside newer attacking talents including Donyell Malen, Matías Soulé and Santiago Castro.
